Sayakenia apron of the Parapankides. The apron was narrow and elongated, woven on the loom in horizontal bands, from which it also took its name. Aprons varied from village to village, which is why there were so many different types. The more formal aprons were embroidered and were named according to the type of embroidery they featured.
